National is up 0.5 points to 31.0%, while Labour is down 3.7 points to 27.8%. The Greens are down 0.3 points to 10.1%, while New Zealand First is down 1.7 points to 9.1%. ACT is up 0.4 points to 7.3%, while Te Pāti Māori is down 1.9 points to 1.5%.
For the minor parties, Opportunity is on 6.1% (+2.8 points), while Women's Rights are on 1.4% (+1.4 points). New Conservatives are on 0.4% (nc), Vision NZ is on 0.3% (+0.3 points), while Outdoors & Freedom are on 0.1% (-0.7 points).
The scientific poll was conducted by Curia Market Research and commissioned by the New Zealand Taxpayers’ Union. The full polling report is being released exclusively to members of our Taxpayer Caucus. The target population is adults aged 18+ who live in New Zealand and are eligible and likely to vote. The sample population is adults aged 18+ who live in New Zealand and are eligible and likely to vote who are contactable on a landline or mobile phone or online panel. 1,000 respondents agreed to participate, 700 by phone and 300 by online panel. The number of decided voters on the vote questions was 965. There were 21 (2.1%) undecided voters and 13 (1.3%) who refused the vote question.....The full poll can be read HERE

Yet more proof that NZr's are stupid and believe that a big Commie Govt is the answer. TOP polling that high - all on those that believe in getting something for nothing. Well, may the pox deservedly be on them!
I can't stand the Opportunity Party but their short videos are all through my facebook feed. She talks constantly in corporate speak. but nothing she says is real. Similar to the trains, when a train manager makes announcements such as "ask me anything as I walk through the train", but then hides in the back and stares at his phone. There is no way he wants you to ask him anything! The leader Que also says one thing, then does another. A well dressed corporate communist. I agree with Luxon that mmp must go. The media party are treating Opportunity like they have a huge majority of votes instead of just 6%.
Re: Anon 846, I have never heard of a communist govt that believes in "something for nothing". On the contrary, communism has little regard for those who do not work for their keep - "no work. no eat" about sums it up. There is no such thing as unemployment except for the disabled in North Korea.
Supporters of communism usually miss one important point. The term ‘To each according to his needs. From each according to his abilities’ also contains the unspoken rider ‘whether they like it or not’. That means you don’t get to sit on your backside in the basement playing video games whilst living on you Universal Income. It means ‘here’s a shovel, get out and do some work, and we don’t care if you don’t like it’
