Shane Reti, in his last press statement as Minister of Science, Innovation and Technology, last week said the Government is backing a shift in science spending to areas that will have the greatest national impact.
A stronger focus will be placed on advanced technology.

DTNZ: Government pours $1.2m into cow gadget to ‘fix climate’

Ministers Nicola Willis and Shane Reti praised the invention as proof of Kiwi ingenuity and a step toward “low-emissions farming.”

Well, we were steered by National’s Health spokesman, Shane Reti, to an independent report on the Maori Health Authority which must be a different independent report from the one that Associate Health Minister Peeni Henare was spruiking yesterday.
