Bob Jones: Hopeless Stuff

The “Stuff” newspaper chain, bought for a dollar by a woman under whose management has seen a massive collapse in readership, must be the most incompetently run organisation outside of some government departments in our history.

Ten days after I pointed out its website’s heading on an item, “Bowels: The Secret to Empty them Entierly”, it still remains up. It continues running polls on issues with the infantile heading, “Yeah, Nah, Do you Support…” etc.

So how does Stuff survive given its dramatically collapsed readership? Simple; we are all forced to pay for it through our taxes and devious ways government agencies prop it up. In return it delivers pro-government articles and cartoons, despite its so-called cartoonists arguably being the worst in cartoon history. The upcoming National-Act coalition should promptly put an end to this.

Sir Bob Jones is a renowned author, columnist , property investor, and former politician, who blogs at No Punches Pulled HERE.

Chaos is coming to the media. Even Rupert Murdoch is not immune.
Chaos may be coming to everything, everywhere. Starting with the media demise, social media will supplant it until the PTB take it down. Get ready for chaos.

Sir Bob, you emboldened me.
Today i finally dove in to truly contemplate those ridiculous emoji faces stuff puts at the bottom of each story under the toe-curling heading “How does this story make you feel?” Love? Sad? Concerned? Don’t care? Happy? or Angry?
This sounds like what you’d expect to see collated by a group of overenthusiastic adolescent good girls plotting to save the world before recess.
Today, with your help, I chose to take this seriously - to provide stuff with feedback from the public they are so interested in - so i clicked on ‘don’t care’, because i do.
I thought that would be the end of it but alas, no, stuff is SO interested in me they then provided me with a box and a 150 character word limit to explain to them WHY did their story make me feel this way?
I was speechless, so i left it blank.
I hope others have been more forthcoming and I now await with great (public) interest Stuff’s analysis of the reams of important data into our feelings that they must have by now collected. Maybe the children could write it up after lunch.

It'll be a test of National/ACT's mettle to see if they pull the pin on the PIJF and force the MSM to stand on their own two feet, financially.

Can't see why they'd keep it going, as they've had terrible Left-wing biased coverage for the past 3 years. Unless, of course, they think that Stuff et al will happily become pro centre-right in their reporting when the purse strings are in the other camp.
I just can't see that. There would have to be a cleanout of all the woke upper management before that would happen.

I’m glad you mentioned Stuff’s, State Controlled infantile and politically charged cartoons. I have seen far more creative work displayed on public toilet walls.

Has "anyone" who reads the Sunday Star Times, see the full page advertising (by Stuff) that reads - "Reporting to you. Not the Beehive" page 23 of last Sunday's edition.

@Unknown - that "Reporting to you. Not the Beehive" bs has been running for days also in 'The Post' and I expect other 'Stuff' owned papers? It's sad that they need to write such utter crapola, as if it's some sort of affirmative incantation that like most of the lies that they peddle, if said often enough some might come to believe it.

I heard Sean Plunket giving one of their reporters, Glenn McConnell a much deserved serve this morning over his column on Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull (aka Posie Parker) and the extraordinary efforts that were expended/wasted in relation to this housewife's recent visit. McConnell at least refrained from referring to her as "anti-trans", which has been his employer's 'take' up until now. But when are they actually going to do their job as the "Fourth Estate" rather than be the paid woke cheerleaders of this Govt?
