Garrick Tremain: Charles and jobs

Here is Garrick Tremain's cartoon commentary on waiting for the right job!

And like Charles they will qualify for a state house in the meantime.

Alternatively:
"He gets a better job and a better state House. If I got a good job I could get eased out of my state house"

On the weekend RNZ ran an interview with a semi charity home provider in South Auckland. The woman explained that some state tenants avoid jobs and quit good ones to keep their income down and ensure continued tenancy. Thus avoid having to convince sceptical landlords that they were model non smoking, near tee total, non partying, no hangis, not gang linked, limited number, no big dogs, reliably paying prospects. And if they fluke the interview then have to endure being hounded to stick to the rules.

Garrick has refrained from shading. I wonder if he has had a phone call from Meng. Or is it the Arrowtown isolation?
