Here is Garrick Tremain's cartoon commentary on polls!

Garrick Tremain is one of New Zealand's best known artists and political cartoonists. With a background in farming and advertising, he has a wonderful ability to capture in images exactly what people are thinking in a way that makes us laugh. You can see his more of his work on his website HERE.

It is incredible how National misuse oportunity after opportunity. The muddle over prescription charges just the latest. Not going to gain or retain votes by telling those who cannot contrive to appear poor that will have to pay for all prescriptions. For those who have been frugal, already resentment about community cards etc.(In the major cities presumably few now pay anyway as many chamists absorb.)It will be interesting to see the response from the supposed poor. Or will there be a maori grant for home delivery? I hope National are well advanced on planning a hard hitting ad campaign to utilise that huge war chest. Tattooed Waititi types dictating to the country between hakas.

Quite right RA
If National keep tripping themselves up and countering everything Labour propose
just because its Labour, will cost them and us after the election.

Taking away something that has been given will never win votes.
Putting $5.00 charge back on med scripts is a stupid, stupid move.

People remember those sort of things.
