Christopher Luxon is unpopular with conservative voters because he doesn't have firm opinions on anything. Does he side with Israel...does he side with Hamas... does he want unity...does he want Maorification? We can see from the very large protest in the UK that leaders need to stand for something. Tommy Robinson, a person who has been jailed, would be more popular than an upstanding person like Christopher Luxon. I would vote for Tommy Robinson over Chris Luxon. Some people are born to be famous, others just don't have it in them. Sad but true. I guess he is looking for the next corporate gig.

Michael,

Luxon connected with me, you, the air nz board and employees, the unilever board and employees, National MPs, ACTs leader and MPs, and NZ First's MPS and incredibly Winston Peters.

Believing an RNZ poll is fraught with the danger of being as wrong as the rnz polls traditionally are.

So... how about bucking the media trend to provide some media balance?

It's a mid term poll with respondents suffering from the engineered rescession required to rid us of the Ardern hangover.

And the most successful political party in nz will have planned their "re-election" good news results to filter through just before the election.

In short, please don't be a Shaun.

Ps Michael. Your intelligent criticism of Simon Wilson.is bang on.

I watched my fair share of Charlie Kirk debates.

I saw a remarkably objective, intelligent, and factual commentator.

How refreshing!
