On Sunday, Workplace Relations Minister Brooke van Velden unveiled the Government’s plans to amend the Employment Relations Act 2000. The changes will provide greater certainty for contractors and businesses, particularly those in the rapidly evolving gig – or ‘platform’ – economy.
