David Farrar: NZ Police - Hate crimes targeting NZ Jews up 530% from 2022 to 2023

The NZ Jewish Council has analysed the hate crime data from the NZ Police. His executive summary:

* Police reported hate crimes targeting Jews in New Zealand increased 583% from 2022 to 2023.

* Jewish New Zealanders are disproportionately targeted for hate crimes. Despite making up only 0.2% of the population, NZ Police Oct-Dec 2023 data shows that:

- 13% of all reported hate crimes in the Auckland Region were against Jews;
- 10% of all reported hate crimes in the Wellington Region were against Jews; and10% of all reported hate crimes in the Tasman Region were against Jews.

* Jewish New Zealanders are 160 times more likely to be the victim of a hate crime than a European New Zealander.

* Jewish New Zealanders are 18 times more likely to be the victim of a hate crime than a Maori New Zealander.

* Jewish New Zealanders are 1.7 times more likely to be the victim of a hate crime than a Middle Eastern New Zealander.

* Hate crimes against Jewish New Zealanders are increasing at a rate more than 5 times higher than the next group of victims, Middle Eastern New Zealanders.

* It is disappointing that NZ media doesn’t seem to consider this is newsworthy.

Also of interest:

Data on the offenders of hate crime[1] shows that Māori are more likely to commit a hate crime per capita than any other group (approx 1.4 incidents per 1,000 population compared to 0.4 for Pasifika, 0.3 for Europeans, 0.2 for Indians, and 0.05 for Asians).

You can see the huge increase since 2022. If this had happened against any other ethnic minority, I suspect it would be the subject of many ongoing stories.

What is considered a hate crime by the NZ Jewish Council? Opposing Zionism? Being critical of the state of Israel?

How about we look at the actual crimes of the people who claim to be the Israelite people, but follow a Pharisaical religion that was born during the final Babylonian exile and not that of the old testament.

Because neither God nor Adam were/are hermaphrodites as the Talmud claims, no are there 8 genders. And children are human from conception - not when they exit they reach 6 weeks of age.

This is what many of the Rabbi's teach and what they are teaching our children to believe in public schools and imposing upon our society with abortion until birth. It hasn't come out of nowhere.

Another Zionist gaslighting article.

Firstly, it would be interesting to know our Police's definition of a hate crime and if that is an arbitrary determination by the recorder?

Secondly, yet again Maori comprise and dominate as the worst perpetrators in the statistics and yet one of their main mantras these days is "Honour the Treaty."

Clearly, (to those proponents) that "honour", and the inherent responsibilities in 'Article the Third', only apply to the Crown. And yet, miraculously, it's still claimed by many as a "partnership." It seems that "good faith", like "racism", is also now only a one-way street?

I read that the Police definition of "hate crime" is as follows:-

"The NZ Police working definition of ‘Hate Crime’ is “any offence which is perceived, by the victim or any other person, to be motivated, wholly or in part, by a hostility or prejudice based on a person’s particular characteristic, such as race, religion, sexual orientation, gender/transgender identity, disability, or age” .
Using this definition if somebody criticizes me for being (for example) a white boomer, then I can take deep offence and feel deeply hurt, and I could consider this to be hostile to me based upon my race and age. i.e. I could claim that it is a HATE CRIME !!!

This is ridiculous !

Not your usual good sense contribution David. What is a hate crime?

So all it takes is a perception of prejudice by someone (anyone?) to make it a "hate crime"
Dear me - most of the Maori M.P.'s would be guilty with that definition!
