Lawyer Kirstin Murfitt has launched a new citizens-initiated referendum campaign urging New Zealanders to reconsider the country’s membership in the World Health Organization (WHO).

The movement, spearheaded by Who Knows NZ, argues that leaving the WHO would restore New Zealand’s sovereignty over healthcare decisions and allow policies tailored specifically to Kiwi needs.
