If ACT’s proposed Treaty referendum went ahead, New Zealand would see civil unrest “five times worse” than the 1981 Springbok tour protest, according to Labour MP Willie Jackson.
This morning on Q+A, Jack Tame asked Jackson if he plans to leave politics after Labour lost the election.
Jackson responded: “I want to stay because I’m nervous about what might be coming, you know in terms of this nonsensical Treaty referendum, let me tell you now Jack, if they try and push that through it’ll be ’81 Springbok Tour, civil unrest times five, times ten.
“I don’t think we’d be able to handle it or control it when I hear from our people surely they aren’t going to do that after we used the system, after we went through the courts, after Maori mortgaged homes, and their lives in terms of utilising the system and got victories, and now all of a sudden they’re going to be able to manage it in this country and I hope Mr Luxon and Winston show a bit of common sense over this.”

Willie Jackson and his pals can’t seem to fathom that there was an election, and the division, race-baiting and separatism that they promoted and implemented was soundly rejected at the ballot box.
New Zealanders have had enough of the woke and overt racism of people like Willie Jackson, Marama Davidson, Rawiri Waititi and every other looter and wrecker of our society.
Enough! we said at the ballot box, like civilised people.
And what do we get in return for that civilised behaviour? We get threats, or maybe they are promises, of violence, destruction, property damage and riots in the street.
Enough is enough.

It's the equivalent of spear rattling when you were unexpectedly visited by the neighbouring iwi who had come over for takeaways....you!
They show their insecurity by reacting aggressively. It must be in the "indigenous" genes, even in Willy's case and his have been substantially diluted.
Resorting to their 'tried and true' playbook that has worked for them in the past to get what they want, but are not entitled too.
Will we allow it to work again, or will this be the final nail in the coffin?
Maori could control maori reaction by supporting reason. But as long as Jackson and his "once were warriors" hakaring ilk and, worse, their female equivalents, prevail, harmony will not.
Scaremongering threats are the only tools he and the other Maori extremists have left in their box. 3% of the population voted for these loudmouths, less than 1 in 5 of "Their People", their credibility to represent their people, Zip.

Spot on Allan. I believe that the election results show that the average hard-working Maori have had a gutsful of Willie Jackson and his ilk who have achieved nothing in their many years in and around the seats of power except lining their own pockets.
The question I would ask - "Is if Civil Unrest occurs, and Maoridom 'come for me' - will they come -
a/ - barefooted, moving as one, with st4ealth thru the undergrowth or will they
b/- arrive in the street driving "the white mans car" namely Holden, Fords, any type of Ute and also riding motorcycles - e.g. Harley Davidson?
Either way, should "one fire up the BBQ" and prepare Kai, as a way of welcoming them into the street?
I would ask if "Dear Willie" and his recent "vocal statements of intent is something that His Brother & Sister learnt, in yonder Years, after their travels to Cuba - and have passed down- overtime" -to Willie??

Let them have the hikoi of all hikoi's . No one cares. Democracy rules in nz. The majority decide in a democracy, whether willie and his frankly evil cohorts agree or not. . There are laws against inciting violence. It's funny how the MSM wouldn't mention the Maori issues before the election but now it's all over the place in one form or another. Still no explanations though about how decolonisation will work. No cars? No power? No food? Oh no, they want everything but they want the rest of us New Zealanders to pay for it.
The Racist Maori Party (TRMP) only got 3% of the vote so that's the support Willlie's lot have. Get stuffed Willie.

Willie does not believe in democracy. He made that clear in previous statements. Labour and his ilk have actively undermined democracy. He now threatens violence will ensue if he does not get his way. Imagine tribal control, with those just like him in control.
Even worse was the green party chanting " from the river to the sea" which means ethnic cleansing of jewish people and presumably white people in nz as well. And these people occupy seats in opposition? How is this even allowed?
Those who oppose a referendum on the Treaty and fair democratic process might like to read the book 'the Musket Wars" written by Mr Ron Crosby, New Zealands foremost expert on these wars . Mr Crosby has at times been a part time member of the Waitangi Tribunal and has Maori family by marriage
He describes these wars between seperate Maori tribes between 1805 and 1845 as having near genocidal effect on their own race.
If we should remain passive whist our democratic rights are refused on this matter we will be expected to be equally passive if the Maori Party wish to liberalise the laws on cannibalism or slavery, common practice by them prior to their signing the Treaty
Crosby points out that the musket wars hugely shaped maori enthusiasm for and response to the now much maligned Treaty and the teaching of therfore esential to an understanding. Many signed to saty out of the ovens. They did not even require the inducement of a cosy state house and dole.
