Pee Kay: “Labour is here to change this dirty, filthy, rotten government.”

He doesn’t need an audience just give him a stage, give him a microphone let the drivel pour forth!

“Labour is here to change this dirty, filthy, rotten government. That’s the aim. We will work with the Greens, the Māori Party, whoever, in terms of trying to get rid of the government.”

So said Willie “Wonker” Jackson when sharing a stage with other Labour MPs, and Maori Party co-leader Rawiri Waititi, at a Waitangi Day event in Auckland recently.

Willie Jackson says Labour can work with Māori Party to change government

Willie was out to substantiate just which party was there for “our people” and to the surprise of no-one, the mouth disengaged from the mind and the foolishness began!

You can just imagine Chippy’s palm slapping his forehead, cringe and frustration written all over his face when his press secretary in formed him of Willies grandstanding!

Do you think he said “Get that bloody loose lipped Jackson in my office…now”!

Yeah, nah. Hipkins knows all too well the power Willie has as head of Labours Maori Caucus.

Do you think for one minute that Ardern and then Hipkins dreamed up the promotion of the wonderfulness of Maori, the promotion of the deprivation of Maori and the racial division we now endure was all their doing; Behind the throne, but not too far as to be seen by Maoridom, was Willie as he was improving the lot of “my people.”

Chippy’s response was not to take a big stick to Willie for spilling the beans on Chippy’s huge “elephant in the room.” No,no, Chippy verbally lashed him with “Willie was simply speaking with “rhetorical flourish”!

But maybe there is a bit of dog in Chippy because, –

“On his return to Parliament this week, Jackson moved to clarify what he’d committed to. He said he did not mean to suggest that there could be a Labour, Green, Te Pāti Māori coalition after November’s election.

Just another backdown by Mr Motor Mouth, given his propensity to shoot from the lip, Willie is well practiced in retractions and back tracks!

Pee Kay writes he is from a generation where common sense, standards, integrity and honesty are fundamental attributes. This article was first published HERE
