Dear National MPs,
Your party members, the ones who support events, fundraising and you, hate disloyalty and leaks.
Voters punish both.
Internal sabotage isn’t just bad for the party, it’s bad for the country. Global instability and looming recession make it even more important than usual to have stable government.
If the leadership changes the coalition will falter.
If the election gives Winston Peters the choice of a three party coalition with Act and a weakened National Party, or a two-party coalition with Labour, New Zealand First will go left.
Support for our party doesn’t just depend on the leader. It depends on all of you, working hard and staying loyal.
Put national current and future wellbeing, governing well, and the party before your personal concerns and ambitions.
Yours sincerely,
Ele Ludemann

All National MPs: get a grip. Pathetic performance funded by taxpayers!
Dear National,
all this would not be a problem if you were just delivering what you promised at last election. Good RMA reform, English first, remove co-governance.
The polls are very clear, you are failing miserably in these areas, if you cannot deliver you need to explain why, and do it NOW
It is not only the economy that is important
At 29% polling, National will lose 10 seats+. Not surprising that their list MPs are experiencing weak bladders, considering how bad a job National is perceived to have done on getting rid of woke and the Maorification agenda. That’s where NZ First is scoring huge traction with the white middle class voters out there who expected National to reverse the divisive policies of Ardern, Hipkins & the Maori cabal.
Not too late perhaps to wake up and go hard in the time left. Otherwise, National is going to be polling 20% to 25% by election day.
In contrast, Winston & NZ First will score the same 20% to 25% then.
No guesses who will be PM. Hint - irrespective of outcome, will not be Luxon or Hipkins.
Keep going the way you are, the National MPs who are leaking. You are better off polishing your CVs.
Well said Ele. Winston's making all the capital from National's ineptitude, but he will change horses like a shot. ( I'm with the only intelligent thinkers and ACTors)
It puzzles me that everything national do shows they think they can win votes from the left, from Labour, but I have seen nothing that actually confirms this is happening or possible. National need to stick to their core values to win back confidence
So many of us loyal National voters feel betrayed by this National caucus, but don't want to vote for either Act, of NZ First.
However, another vote for Luxon takes us further into this Maorication mire that he has continued to lead us into.
Can he turn around and do the right thing for 85% of the people rather than perpetuating the control of NZ by a few thousand radical Maori and their friends ?
Can some of his colleagues who read BV get this message through to him ?
The looming mess in November means that a lot of us are heading for a quiet part of Australia next year.
This is the first constructive opinion I have heard in a long while!
One major problem is that the PM is as stubborn as a mule and believes his path is the right one and everyone else is out of step. No doubt after the next election, he will be unable to understand how his reduced majority happened, despite being warned many times
