One of the things we’ve learnt about climate change politics over the years is that their predictions are always wrong.

Barry Brill: The Climate Emperor Is Now Naked

US voters believe that “climate change” is only about power and control

Intending US presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy told Fox News on 10 February:

“Here’s the dirty little secret about the climate religion – it has nothing to do with the climate. It is all about power, control, dominion and apologising for America’s own success…”

These comments caused quite a stir on social media. To such an extent, that Rasmussen Reports included this question in its weekly poll:

Do you agree or disagree with this statement: Climate change has become a religion that “actually has nothing to do with the climate” and is really about power and control?

The survey of 950 U.S. Likely Voters was conducted on March 6-8, 2023. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence.

The result (reported here) was breathtaking!

Dick Reaney: It's madness, madness, madness, there is no climate emergency

Climate Change is normal and natural and has gone on for millions of years without any help from the human race. The scaremongering now going on by the media, politicians and climate alarmists, is so utterly misguided to be nothing but tragic. That we have an End of the World scenario is even more ridiculous. It is a regress back to the past and has the stamp of Dark Age soothsayers and witchcraft on it.

H. Sterling Burnett: No, Weather Channel, 2020 Did Not Bring Unprecedented Climate Disasters

An article published by the Weather Channel tries to link climate change to a variety of environmental “disasters,” that struck around the world in 2020. The article cites limited evidence for any link. In reality, none of the asserted disasters are tied to supposed human-caused climate change.

In the Weather Channel article titled, “2020’s Worst Environmental Disasters, and How Climate Change Played a Role,” the author writes, “In a year of unprecedented disasters, much of the damage done to our planet in 2020 was self-inflicted.” Historical records and data show none of the disasters discussed in the article are, in fact, unprecedented.
