When the late Christopher Hitchens wrote his political biography of the Clintons, he called it No One Left to Lie To. He dubbed Bill Clinton (“with reasonable confidence”), “a pathological liar”.
“Hold my, uh, you know, the thing…” mumbles Joe Biden.
President Biden’s decision to step aside as the expected Democratic nominee in November has “nothing to do with his health,” his top spokesperson said Wednesday ahead of his prime-time address to the nation.
Do these people ever stop lying? Biden lied to the American people’s faces in the 2020 debate about Hunter’s laptop. He lied to their faces again in 2024 when he claimed that Trump praised neo-Nazis. But the truly staggering whopper of that night was his furious denial that his cognitive health was in precipitous decline.
It’s a lie that Biden and his cronies, as well as the lickspittle mainstream media, have been peddling for years, even as the truth became undeniably obvious.
They’re still trying to push the lie.
“It has nothing to do with his health. The president is going to speak to this directly to the American people in prime time,” press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters during a briefing.
“In his letter he talked about the country, he talked about the party, he talked about the moment we’re in right now,” she continued. “It is not about his health. I can say no, that’s not the reason. But hear him out tonight.”
Jean-Pierre also rejected the idea that she and White House aides were engaged in a “cover up” to mask Biden’s decline from the public.
“There’s been no cover up, want to be very clear about that,” she said.
So, when the White House and the rest of the mainstream media went into feral attack mode on the Wall Street Journal in June, for daring to admit what everyone with a functioning senses already knew: Biden Shows Signs of Slipping. CNN were particularly outraged, dubbing it “false claims”. With jaw-dropping chutzpah, CNN finger-wagged that the WSJ “owes its readers – and the public – better”.
You shameless bastards. Just weeks later, CNN pivoted to blaming “Biden’s closest advisers for shielding public from full extent of president’s decline.”
What changed? The debate. With Biden mumbling nonsensical drivel about “finally defeat[ing] Medicare”, the jig was well and truly up. Even CNN couldn’t lie about it any more – though they’re fully prepared to give it the old college try.
But even the barefaced liars at CNN have nothing on the Biden White House.
White House aides were adamant up, until he did, that Biden wasn’t going to drop out of the race. A source familiar with the White House staff’s thinking on Friday told The Hill that Biden “is committed to staying in this race until he is re-elected, period” and he dropped out on Sunday.
Jean-Pierre cited the “dynamic situation” when questioned on the credibility of the comments from aides.
“When folks from my team, folks from this White House, said that he wasn’t going to drop out, or he was not planning to drop out, that’s where we were. That’s where we were in that time. That is the guidance that we had,” she said.
These complete frauds are utterly, utterly shameless.

It’s ironic that the media could no longer protect Biden after his disastrous debate but also couldn’t acknowledge the victor and branded him a total liar instead. I have asked friends who are dedicated followers of the corrupt MSM by asking, what did Trump lie about, only to be met with blank stares. Propaganda is alive and well as the docile swallow MSM falsehoods , hook line and sinker.
