Thank God the voice of sanity still exists in this land. I am so EMBARRASSED for the woke idiots at all levels of management who think they are doing the right thing. Get a grip people!
If the contents of Michael’s broadcast weren’t so serious, it’d be hilarious! He and thankfully Simeon Brown are on the right track. A pity Luxon isn’t prepared to state a position. He can hide behind others for so long, but raises suspicion as to his real stance on matters affecting all NZers’.
Wonderful. If any TV station condensed the 6 oclock news and added this their following would match the 1960s.
It has all been very obvious for years yet the msm has seemd unable to notice. Michael's degree of concern and vehemnt expression of should be near universal through the msm but is not.
Michael correctly observes that running through a maori lens means consultation...now invariably paid.
He covered te ao, tikanga and world view admirably. I would love to hear his views on wairua and mauri.
I, and presumably Michaels, am comforted that he resides in the deep south where the reduced relative proportion of deranged maori nutters is more conducive to a safe life (although Otago University strives hard to establish Northland numbers)
Perhaps RNZ could arrange an interview with Wilcox and or Mahu????i Forbes sometime. Or will when the Board changes.
It appears Michael might be another of Willie Jackson's "useless Maori", for not embracing Te Ao Maori - or perhaps that (quite rightly) wasn't part of Michael's Maoriori ancestry? We'll never know on that score.
It seems Te Ao Maori is all about an automatic 'consultation' or 'clip of the pakeha's ticket' at every conceivable opportunity. What a rort and quite rightly called out, but it's still far too prevalent elsewhere. So, Simeon, your work is far from done and it's time you also brought your leader into line.
Omg brilliant you've just said exactly what is happening in councils. Our wanganui council in spite of a 75% vote against has given marares 3.5 million for upgrades over nx 10 years and half million for maori sculpture for Cobham bridge also strongly voted against. No wonder huge rates rise. Also purchased land in CBD fir a $6 million hotel. But I think that's been put on hold for now.
I’m so tired with all this BS. Most of those who call themselves maori have less than 50% bloodlines and yet these racical Iwi ignore that because there’s more money in victimhood. We the people need to speak out and say enough is enough.
Just watched for the second time. Far and away the best video I have seen in years. Should be compulsory viewing for all NZers, starting young. A repeat on RNZ/TV1 would be a major contribution toward a satisfactory future for NZ. If they still have Oxford debates Laws should enlist.
