Professor Robert MacCulloch: The Royal Commission Report on Covid Missed out the Graph....

Oops. The Royal Commission Report on Covid Missed out the Graph of "Confirmed Covid deaths" showing NZ has converged to the world average,

Oh dear. The graph below must have accidently been missed out of the Royal Commission into Covid-19 Report, showing that over time, NZ's total cumulative confirmed deaths from Covid has converged to the world average. That average includes a ton of countries that never practiced elimination-style lockdowns. But again, we must keep reminding ourselves: the Royal Commission Report is a "narrative" and we must not let facts get in the way of a good story.

As Labour Leader Chris Hipkins will tell you - NZ recorded the lowest number of deaths compared to any country in the world. Our World in Data was originally established by a group including my old thesis examiner, Sir Tony Atkinson, who was one of the world's greatest economists and inequality researchers. They must have gone & stuffed up their data collection. Should you want to be enlightened by The Single Source of Truth, best to read the Royal Commission report and ask Otago University's academics for better data.

Professor Robert MacCulloch holds the Matthew S. Abel Chair of Macroeconomics at Auckland University. He has previously worked at the Reserve Bank, Oxford University, and the London School of Economics. He runs the blog Down to Earth Kiwi from where this article was sourced.

Thank you Robert for revealing this. A big problem is that so many people with higher education and supposed intellect and critical reasoning skills have been so unbelievably gullible in swallowing the 'narrative.'

However , I do understand , you have to perhaps have a fairly cynical mind to grasp that the whole thing has actually been a complete scam , like something out of the most alarming science fiction. But we did have novels like 1984 by George Orwell. to warn us. Also think of the evil empires in 'Star Wars'.
