David Farrar: Will the media call him far left?

Green MP Ricardo Menendez March said in Parliament:

I rise in support of the Companies (Address Information) Amendment Bill. As a true Marxist, I'm not really one to stand up for the petite bourgeoisie …

Now it is no real surprise that Ricardo is a Marxist. But what I find interesting is that an MP can call themselves a Marxist and the media won't even blink. Will they ever refer to him as a far left politician (hard to go further left than Marxism). Some try to call anyone on the centre right “far right” but not even Marxists are called far left.

You do have to admire the tenacity of Marxists though. There's been around 50 countries that have implemented Marxism, and it has failed in every single one of them. In fact up to 100 million people have died at the hands of communist regimes. But the Marxists insist that it is simply because none of them have implemented it the right way, and give them a taste of power and all will be great!

He probably has a tattoo of Che Guevara on his Left buttock and Fidel Castro on his other Left buttock.

It's bad enough having your own home-grown Lefty nutter MPs like Ardern etc, but when we keep importing them from Mexico and Canada that really pisses me off.

Subtly introduced Marxism put into our education system last century has destroyed it since now we have the lowest achievement in literacy of the English speaking countries and the longest tail of under-achievement in the developed world. Only about 4% of decile 10 ( equity index1) students passed in the trial NCEA literacy test compared with 64% in decile 1.

Marxism fails in everything it puts its filthy hands on. Our education catastrophe has drastically disadvantaged the' proletariat' the most. The kids of this low SES group are the most advantaged When proper structured traditional methods are used as with structured Literacy aka phonics as we used to have before Marxist nonsense was introduced in about 1970.

The media never describe these Marxist characters as "far Left"
However, if you are a sensible middle of the road person who respects family values, law and order and a good work ethic - the media will fly into print, calling you "far Right" or "alt Right".

I am sorry I got the deccile numbers and equity scores wrong in above comment.
Decile 10 are the highest SES and Equity scores which are harder to discern range from 344-569 .344 being the highest SES.
