Good interview although at some stages it sounded like Sean Plunkett was being interviewed rather than being the interviewer. It will be good to hear Luxon explain why he is against equality or Parliamentary sovereignty, and to ask the protestors why, if Parliament isn't sovereign, they are going there in the first place? You would think that an institution they say has no authority over them would be the last place they would go. Somehow I can't see those questions being asked by the mainstream media.
Having listened to Sean following his questioning the PM about his stance and the latter clearly stating that there is nothing in the Bill that he likes, I imagine that the clock is now ticking on his tenure as National's leader. This of course will be a matter for the Nationals themselves to determine but there is a massive case of hubris/foot in mouth disease to be resolved here. No-one wants National to implode like the UK Conservatives but there must be many within National who will be working out how to resolve this with as little pain as possible.
