Guyon Espiner had a 30 minute interview with Prime Minister Christopher Luxon.
It was an opportunity to learn a lot more about the man and his plans for New Zealand and there were some good parts, including the reasons why a Capital Gains Tax wouldn’t be a good idea.
But Espiner wasted too much time on issues that have been well canvassed like claiming the housing allowance, selling his apartment and poll ratings.
He also wasted more time on trivia like fixating on the PM’s business-speak and that he started a list of people politicians have to listen to with the word customer.
A good long form interview like this should have brought out new insights into the PM and his plans for the country instead of rehashing dead issues and wasting time on trivia.

Ele, "our dear Guyon" is only replicating what CNN & MSNBC in America do - focus on the negative, delivering the mis & dis information, so that the "receiving public" are encouraged to believe that the message being presented by them (and will be re-iterated by others from the same & /or other sources) as being fact. Nothing else matters - "The Truth is not out there, we are the source of Truth". Heard those words before?
