Sir Bob Jones: Illiteracy

Kiwiblog published a mindblowingly illiterate statement issued by the staff of Naenae Primary school. Naenae is a low income Lower Hutt suburb. What hope for these kids with teachers lacking basic grammar, let alone common sense?

Their statement, inexplicably, partly in maori, announced the illegal intention to take their classes of children, aged five to ten, to join the Treaty Bill protest.

Grammar abuses.

* “History making” lacking a hyphen.

* “There will be thousands attending therefore, we encourage…”. The comma should be after “attending”, not after “therefore”.

* The next line lacks a comma after “Wellington”.

* “School” is twice spelt “skool”.

Primary school teachers these days, are usually female. I’d offer good odds most of this lot are fat given that obesity frequently accompanies stupidity.

Kiwiblog also published a statement issued to the parents of kids at South Wellington Intermediate school, encouraging them to attend the protest with their children.

This was over the signature of the school principal, a dripping wet to the point of saturation individual called Toby Stokes, who despite his male name, “Toby”, is apparently unsure about his gender. I say that as following his signature he has (he, him, his) in brackets.

Toby is plainly a screaming goose, but possibly a perfect marriage candidate for one of the Naenae primary school fat lady teachers. That said, I suspect there’s no danger of such a matchup producing offspring and thank heavens for that.

I love this post! Unfortunately my laughter was tempered by the realization that much of the content was factual.

Interesting comment, please place under "woke push back".
Sir Robert, you now join an esteemed group who will make a statement ( be it verbal and/or written) - regarding an item/opine/ etc and are prepared to stand by such comments, "come hell or highwater".
I have just watched a video of Matt Gaetz, GOP Congressman, 1st District Florida (soon to be the New Attorney General US DOJ)- being interviewed over comments he made at a rally concerning women, was asked (by US TV MSM) if he would retract or apologize for said comments - his answer - "No".
Sir Robert, we now watch "this space" to see what prevails over your comments.
