Nelson Mandela was arrested for his role in the Defiance
Campaign, launched 26 June 1952, and thus began his odyssey of opposing the
Apartheid regime being implemented by the Verwoerd South African
government.
Although found, not guilty, of the 1952 rumbles and that he was initially committed to non-violent protest, in 1961 in association with a militant group he led a sabotage campaign against the government. He was arrested and imprisoned in 1962, and, was sentenced to life imprisonment for conspiring to overthrow the State.
But the tide turned when President De Klerk commuted that sentence after 27 years and as the waves settled, in 1994 Mandela was elected as President of South Africa. This, manifestation of “democracy” transferred power from the White Minority Government to the Black Majority Government and the turbulent waves subsided, to mere perturbation.Democratic or Authoritarian?
But, lurking in the depth of this ocean of temporary political
unity among Blacks, historical hatred between Xhosa and Zula simmered like a
latent volcano for it was little more than a century and a half since the impis
of Zulu monarchs, Kings Chaka and Mzilikazi, reduced the
population of Southern black African by fifty percent.
As one who has travelled extensively through Southern Africa
i.e., Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe (I was business related resident
in Zimbabwe for 3 months 2005) and South Africa several times between 1982 promoting
my best seller The Red Squad Story, to Commonwealth trips as a Member of Parliament and two separate
trips funded by President de Klerk’s emissaries during my time as an MP, the
change in the stability/safety of South Africa juxtaposed other countries to
which I refer and the periods of time; shocked me – and scared me.
Furthermore, between 2015 -2018 I was frequently in Morocco
and Western Sahara twice as guest speaker at CRANZ Africa Economic forums in Dakhla
(on one occasion former cop David Wong Tong – husband of Hon Judith
Collins, was one of two guests I sponsored). Point being, the comparison between Morocco
and even Western Sahara which hovers close to armed conflict with Algeria, with
South Africa in terms of crime and security; exposes graphically to me, how far
South Africa has shifted since the Black Majority took over.
Lesson? Be careful what you wish for. In my assessment, changing the “guard” from
one ethnic group to another, did not produce the outcomes, that many claim,
were their wishes.
Fast forward to New Zealand today where Rt Hon Winston
Peters has not only applied a hand brake on the chariot of apartheid
polices Labour government/Ardern/Hipkins was driving, but has rammed that
vehicle into reverse.
If the waves of turbulence that South Africa has experienced
since moving to a Republic governed by a minority, is followed by New Zealand
adopting rule by a minority ethnic group, notwithstanding the timidity of many
White Kiwis, the probability of civil unrest exploding as it did in South
Africa, must be considered.
Granting special rights to one ethnic group, denied all
other ethnicities which make up New Zealand, surely amounts to a form of
apartheid? As Chris Trotter has
foretold, Labour’s behaviour takes us perilously close to “civil war”. (1) Coming from a “leftie”, this prescience must
be of concern as it signals casus belli in our own back yard.
Property development and commercial ownership in Auckland
aside, axiomatically, New Zealand demographics are headed toward an Asian
majority sooner than the 40 years it took for the minority rulers of South
Africa, to be toppled. By my assessment,
there is no way an Asian (be it Chinese or Indian) majority will roll over in
face of radical Māori demands, as so many guardians of our once great country,
have done.
As always: Be careful what you wish for.
On 1 December 2023 I acknowledged Sir Winston’s integrity
and courage for putting New Zealand on the correct highway to a transparent democratic
governance vis-à-vis a pathway being pushed by pseudo-Māori leaders – some of
whom are currently threatening New Zealand with virtual civil war if the
apartheid is removed. (2)
Imagine if Dr Don Brash threatened the country with
violence if it did not repeal the apartheid laws of Labour? Conversely, what
penalty is appropriate for they who threaten New Zealand with violence and
civil war, if the Labour government polices granting Māori rights denied all
other New Zealanders, are abolished?
If Mandela could be sent to prison for “conspiracy” i.e.
talking about how to undermine the security of the State, what is the
appropriate penalty for actually “threatening” the security of the State?

traversed my intimate association with events that had connotations with Māori
radicalism.
From 1971 when Syd
Jackson and his wife Hannah circulated pamphlets; “kill a white die a hero”, in
the club rooms of the same rugby senior A team Syd and I played for, via 1977 -
1978 Bastion Point occupation, via 1981 Springbok Tour, via my
time as O/C police criminal intelligence unit tracking Māori activists as I
presented to parliament in my Maiden Speech 1987 – culminating in my car being
torched at my family home in Northcote Point, to my calling out Prime
Minister Bolger 1992 live on Holmes TV, where my exposure to the public of
the plan he had dumped on caucus earlier that day to grant foreshore rights to Māori,
forced Mr Bolger and the “few” in Cabinet who were aware of the plan, to back
off. In 2024 Rt Hon Helen Clark
did put a stop to wreckers and haters but Rt Hon John Key and Mr
Finlayson overturned that protection and that is why we are where we are now.
Like a never-ending surge of tide, this chronology of
events, by no means exhaustive of all attacks on the security of the Sate of
New Zealand, sends a very clear message:
The success of the agenda being pushed by pseudo leaders (lacking tribal
rank - which incidentally, I could claim within Tainui (4)) may abate while Sir Winston leads the
Coalition governing our country at this time, but in my assessment, he has his
work cut out.
Replacing left leaning elected representatives in parliament
with right leaning elected representatives, may slow down and even temporarily
stop the rot, but changing the politicians is only part of the plan.
In contemporary western society there is no permanent
governing elite in the Executive Branch of Governance – anywhere in the British
Commonwealth or USA. As President Reagan said: “Every
present and past political appointee knows without (bureaucrats), policy change
would be impossible.” (5)
If I was still Sir Winston’s advisor, I would be
saying: New Broom Sweeps Clean.

And here is the researched documented history for the NEW BROOM to use to sweep away this apartheid cancer which has been ALLOWED to grow and spread throughout God's own.
Until we use the 6 documents that made New Zealand into a British Colony, Maori will continue to twist the Tiriti o Waitangi and the history surrounding it because we allow them to by ignoring these 6 documents.
1.We overlook the letter the 13 Ngāpuhi chiefs sent to the King of England asking him to be their guardian and protector. This letter shows they were in trouble and needed British protection, not only from themselves, but also from the French.
2.We overlook the Declaration of Independence that was a complete failure as the chiefs could not form a united body to claim sovereignty over New Zealand, a fact ruled by Chief Justice, Sir James Prendergast in 1877.
3.We overlook Queen Victoria’s 1839 Royal Charter/Letters Patent that placed New Zealand under the dependency of New South Wales. Britain could not have placed New Zealand under the dependency of New South Wales if Maori had sovereignty over New Zealand.
4.We overlook that the Treaty of Waitangi only asked the Maori chiefs to give up their governments to Queen Victoria, and in return, Maori would become British Subjects with the same rights as the people of England. No more, no less, no Partnership and definitely, no Co-governance. This is what Lt. Governor Hobson’s final draft from which the Tiriti o Waitangi was translated said, but as it was written using made up words, the Tiriti o Waitangi is being twisted by Maori to mean whatever they want it to mean to get their own way.
5.We overlook Queen Victoria’s 1840 Royal Charter/Letters Patent that separated New Zealand from New South Wales and made New Zealand into a British Colony with a Governor and Constitution under one flag and one law. Without Queen Victoria’s 1840 Royal Charter/Letters Patent, New Zealand would have remained under the dependency of New South Wales.
6.We overlook the First Sitting of the Legislative Council in 1841 that set up our political, legal and justice systems under one flag and one law, irrespective of race, colour or creed.
Unless we use these 6 Documents that made New Zealand into a British Colony under one flag and one law, irrespective of race, colour or creed, Maori will continue to twist the Tiriti o Waitangi and the history surrounding it to mean whatever they want to get their own way.
There is no other document in New Zealand’s history that comes anywhere near to our true Founding Document and first Constitution than Queen Victoria’s Royal Charter/Letters Patent dated 16 November 1840, but we must not overlook the other 5 documents that made this possible.

Please send you list of "overlooked" docs to Julian Batchelor ASAP.
Meurant casually notes in passing that "New Zealand(s) demographics are headed toward an Asian majority sooner than the 40 years it took for the minority rulers of South Africa, to be toppled."
While Maori and Europeans bicker, we are both being deliberately replaced by Asians. This isn't organic, it is a government policy and it should be or great concern to any thinking person.
As Meurant points out, these Asians won't be concerned about the demands of Maori, but, on current projections, they will constitute a majority and as a majority with a collective identity and interests, they will irrevocably alter the social fabric accordingly.
Currently, they are Asians living in a European society – in 50 years, Europeans will be a minority in an Asian country.

I often wonder, since our - "1981 Rugby Protests re Apartheid in South Africa", and the emergence of the African National Council /ANC as the dominate Political ruling power - how many New Zealand Citizens, even the "main group of protestors (1981): have looked at what has happened in South Africa since and what it has become today?
I am. There are those who have "risked their lives" when in South Africa to film current status, and it is not pretty.
When seeing this footage - I wonder how New Zealanders would feel, more importantly, those "who were the main stream protestors (1981) [John Minto comes to mind] - what would they say, now, were actions then justified.
But then, with our Politically correct media, such film footage could not be shown here - "it would upset the sensitive ones".

and the "result, today is not impressive".
To me Mandela was "the mouth & show piece for the ANC, whilst in the background the main players held sway". That become obvious in later years following Mandela's death.
You mention the (NZ) Jackson family, I am sure you are aware (your former Police O/C Intelligence would have made you privy) - of this Family "overseas trip to both Libya & Cuba". Interesting the actions that have followed since then."
Willie J, and his former radio buddy, are have "warmed up the hot plates", , and along with others, in Te Pati Maori, will "crank up the BBQ" in the coming months (want to re-enlist in the Riot Squad?) - Guy Fawkes, will rank "second in the history books".

Oh, the other factor, here in NZ, we follow overseas trends - social media is the biggest one, and when BLM, in America "marched" it was interesting to see Maoridom follow with similar actions, only the begining.
A priority for the new Govt is to seriously look at purging those bureaucrats and advisors who have infiltrated important Govt Depts who are serious left leaning activists and in a position to influence or control/disrupt the flow of Govt policy. This purge should move on to Universities and other institutions where our young and growing future citizens are at risk of being wrongly influenced.
